Ligularia Jamesii looks like a yellow daisy. However, instead of growing in gardens, this little flower is endemic only to the Changbai Mountains in northeast China and the neighboring Democratic People's Republic of Korea. Ligularia Jamesii is the only plant in the genus of Ligularia with a solitary capitulum on the top of the stalk. The solitary flower leopard plant blooms in the alpine tundra of the Changbai Mountains. Resembling yellow smiley faces, the flowers are a vibrant addition to the mountains.
