The European Court of Justice said Thursday it will deliver its judgment on whether Britain can unilaterally end the divorce process from the European Union (EU) on December 10 at 0800 GMT, Reuters reported.

The ruling will come the day before a crucial vote in the British parliament on whether to accept a Brexit deal proposed by the country's Prime Minister Theresa May.

The latest development came after an advocate general for the court said that Britain can cancel Brexit by revoking Article 50 without the consent of other EU member states.
