China’s Li Dayin snatches two golds at Asian Weightlifting Championships

Home favorite Li Dayin, who won the 2018 World Championship Clean & Jerk, claimed two gold medals in the men's 81 kilogram snatch and overall at the Asian Weightlifting Championships currently underway in the city of Ningbo, east China.
Earlier, Li won the snatch category with a total lift of 168 kg. But the 2018 World Champions had a tougher time in the clean and jerk. He fumbled due to a sweaty palm from the first attempt. However, after changing his clothes, Li finally lifted 195kg to rank fourth. He tried to lift 200kg but his final attempt was futile.
Choe Jon Wi from the DPRK finished with 197kg lift to grab the gold in the clean and jerk and silver overall in overall results. Li claimed gold with 363kg lift after a perfect performance in the snatch. 
On the women's side in the 59kg division, Chen Guiming won silver in the snatch with lifts of 95kg, 99kg and 102kg. Guo Xingchun claimed gold with a lift of 106kg, setting a new world record.
In clean and jerk, Guo Xingchun won the gold with 137kg lift, breaking the world record. China's Chen Guiming settled for the silver.
