A blazing meteorite illuminated the night sky on Friday evening in southwest China's Yunnan Province. There was a dazzling light that quickly took the form of a "flaming ball” accompanied by a thunder-like noise. An astronomer from the Yunnan Observatory of the Chinese Academy of Sciences explained that the fireball was, in fact, a bolide.
