Apartment fire kills five college students in S China

Five college students have been confirmed dead in an apartment fire on Sunday in Guilin, south China's Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, according to Xinhua.
The fire also caused seven serious injuries and 29 minor injuries. Among those injured, 24 were college students, local media reported.
The owner of the apartment has been contacted by the police and the cause of the fire is still under investigation.

The building caught fire at around 6:00 a.m. local time (10:00 p.m. GMT) on Sunday, according to local authorities. 
The fire has been put out and the injured have been taken to the hospital for treatment.
