The 2019 La Diablada runs from March 1 to 4 with over 50 groups of dancers in costumes of angels and demons paying homage to the patron of Oruro. The dance group names "Authentic Traditional Diablada" was in a suit that weighed over thirty kilos captivated the crowds during a three-hour pilgrimage on Saturday morning. The dancing was the centerpiece of the Oruro carnival, combining indigenous religious ceremony with Catholic beliefs.
