An 80-year-old man suffered a heart attack while waiting for his flight at Haikou Meilan International Airport in south China’s Hainan Province on December 27. The airport's medical staff quickly arrived at the site and resorted to the automatic external defibrillator and applied cardio-pulmonary resuscitation (CPR). After 20 minutes efforts by the medical staff, the patient had his heartbeat recovered.
