The declining temperatures in northern China have frozen part of the Yellow River. Ice floes were seen in the waters along Shilou County in the city of Lyuliang in Shanxi Province. This part of the Yellow River flows through the Great Canyon between the Shanxi and Shaanxi provinces. Looking from the sky, small ice blocks covered the running Yellow River, making the river look like a silver dragon swimming through the canyon.
