Washington has refrained from calling China a currency manipulator. In the report released on Wednesday, the US Treasury said it has found "no major trading partner met the criteria to be declared as a currency manipulator." Mr. Chen Jiahe, chief strategist at Cinda Securities in Shanghai, said that’s because China didn't manipulate its currency and has no intention of doing so.
