A report by UK-based organization Iraq Body Count reveals that between 2003 and 2013, at least 112,000 Iraqi civilians lost their lives in violent incidents. If deaths among anti-government militia and unrecorded civilian deaths are included, the figure is estimated to be as high as 174,000.
