The China and South Korea Tourism Photography Exhibition kicked off on February 18 in Seoul, South Korea.
The 60 photographs include 30 taken by Korean tourists in China, and the other half by Chinese tourists in South Korea. Pictures vary from desert landscapes, animals, fireworks, to mountain roads.
The minister-counselor at the embassy of China in Seoul, JinYanguang, said that the two neighboring countries, China and South Korea, had a long history of exchanges in experiences and perspectives between their peoples. "We bear many resemblances and yet preserve differences also. With such an exhibition, we hope this will strengthen the communication and collaboration of the two countries in culture and tourism."
Government officials from Seoul also appreciated this exhibition and hoped that by exchanging perspectives through lenses, people of the two countries will have better connections.
The exhibition is set to be on display for a month. It is co-hosted by the Centre of Chinese Culture at Seoul, the Chinese Tourism Office at Seoul, and the Sightseeing and Sports Bureau of Seoul.
