Three people have been confirmed dead and 13 others were injured as a heavy fog caused a 28-vehicle pile-up on a highway in Zhumadian, central China's Henan Province, on Monday morning.
The accident took place at the Zhumadian section of Daqing-Guangzhou Highway.
The injured people have been hospitalized.
