On Monday night, China's national women’s football team swiftly obtained a 16-0 win over Tajikistan at the Gelora Sriwijaya Stadium in the Jakabaring Sport City of Indonesia.
This is the second time for Tajikistan to lose 16 goals in one game as the last time was against the DPRK on August 17.
For the Chinese side, Paris Saint-Germain's newly signed Wang Shuang scored one goal, nine goals were scored by Wang Shanshan, five came from Zhao Rong, and one was from Li Tingting.
During another women’s football game that took place simultaneously, the DPRK defeated China's Hong Kong 8-0 and stand at the top of Group B with a one goal advantage over China.
Next, China will meet the DPRK on August 22 evening; however, both teams have already qualified for the quarterfinals.
