The whole of Beijing was thrilled by the post-holiday snowfall on Tuesday, when snowflakes whirled from the sky like a myriad of feathers, making the city's landmarks even more magical.
Thousands of visitors and shutterbugs simply couldn't skip the chance to record the sight. It took longer than usual for a proper snowfall during this winter season in Beijing, making it a unique event. The Forbidden City was one of the hottest spots – even after the busy Spring Festival holiday, it remained popular.
