A special exhibition of Chinese artifacts from the collection of the Vatican Museums opened in the Palace Museum Tuesday.
This is the first time that the Vatican museums have brought their collection of Chinese cultural relics to display in China. 
The exhibition, themed "Beauty Unites Us," features 78 exhibits from the Vatican Museums in Catholic Art, Buddhist Art and Secular Art sections.

To further enrich the exhibition, the Palace Museum added 12 masterpieces of its own to be exhibited alongside works from the Vatican Museums.
The exhibition is free of charge and will last until July 14.
