From October 2018 to January 2019, there has been a total tax reduction of 200 billion yuan for individuals in China. The individual income tax cut covers 80 million people who no longer need to pay tax and 65 million people received a 70-percent tax cut, said Wang Jun, head of the State Taxation Administration on Tuesday at the press conference on the sidelines of the Two Sessions.
