The confirmed death toll from a storm that struck the Philippines over the weekend rose to 68 and officials say that number is expected to rise. Tropical Depression "Usman" made landfall on Saturday. It brought torrential rains that caused floods and triggered landslides that were responsible for most of the deaths. It has moved west away from the country. At least 17 people are still missing and more than 40,000 have been displaced.
