Five killed in coal mine accident in central China

At least five people were killed and one injured after gas leaked in Jiahe County in central China's Hunan Province, local authorities said on Wednesday.

The incident took place at around 5:50 p.m. local time on Tuesday while workers were working at a coal mine.

The initial investigation indicated that the workers were suffocated due to the gas leak.
