What scenery to expect from three subvenues of Spring Festival Gala?

If you haven't planned your Spring Festival trip, you might get some inspiration from China's Spring Festival Gala, the world's most viewed show with around a billion people watching it at the same time. The 2019 Spring Festival Gala will be held in Beijing, the main venue, and three sub-venues in three cities in China. Each city has its own unique style.

Jinggangshan: Soul trip

Jinggangshan Mountains, located in Ji'an City, east China's Jiangxi Province, are known as the birthplace of the Chinese Red Army and also the cradle of the Chinese revolution.
People put "green" and "red" tour labels on Jinggangshan scenic area, where they choose the "green tour" for seeing the natural scenery, and the "red tour" to understand the history of the Chinese revolution. Of course, you can do both.

Jinggangshan Mountains

Jinggangshan scenic area covers an area of over 200 square kilometers and is divided into 11 sub-areas including over 460 scenic sites and more than 100 revolutionary sites.
The natural beauty of rocks, waterfalls, caves, hot springs, rare animals and plants has remained intact here. Five-Fingers Peak, the highest in the Jinggangshan mountain range, has the appearance of five extended fingers and hence its name. The unspoiled virgin forest on the mountain is almost without any trace of human activities, remaining the home of rare animal species. When you enter Dragon-Pond Waterfalls area, long before you catch sight of the falls, you will hear the thunder-like roar of the water. Unique peaks, rocks and an echo cliff are also to be found in this area.

Jinggangshan Revolutionary Museum

Jingangshan has a great significance in the annals of modern Chinese history for it was where important events during the Chinese revolution took place. For those who are interested in the history of revolution, it is recommended to take a tour of the mountain. Jinggangshan Revolutionary Museum, where more than 5,000 documents and 4,000 historical pictures are collected, and Jinggangshan Revolutionary Martyrs Cemetery must be put on your tour list.

Changchun: Movie trip

Changchun is the capital city of northeast China's Jilin Province and is known as China's "city of movies."

Changchun Film Studio

Changchun is the cradle of Chinese film production as Changchun Film Studio was the first film studio after the People's Republic of China was founded in 1949. Established in October 1945, the Changchun Film Studio has produced over 900 films and translated more than 1,000 films.
The studio today has a gallery for translated films and art. The old location of the studio has been transformed into a film museum, where precious documents and photos were displayed here to help visitors learn about the glorious history of the Chinese film industry.

Changchun Movie Wonderland

Covering an area of one million square kilometers, Changchun Movie Wonderland is China's first park themed on world-class special effects films developed by Changchun Film Studio. Inspired by the Universal Studios Hollywood and Disneyland, Changchun Movie Wonderland is dubbed as the oriental Hollywood.
The park is divided into four parts - the innovation and technologies area, the thrills and spills area, the performance area and the recreational area. You can watch 4D movies with special effects, 3D water screen films, laser suspension movie, dome movie and comedy shows.

The most exciting experience would be the Interstellar Exploration film, which combines the world's most advanced dynamic film technology with dome film technology. The Zombie Hospital, the Memory House, the Giant Screen Cinema, and the Galaxy Palace are some other attractions worth a visit. 

Shenzhen: Leisure trip

Dubbed as one of China's most livable cities, Shenzhen in south China's Guangdong Province has seen explosive growth over the past 30 years. As a young city, Shenzhen lacks in historic tourist destinations, but it makes up for boasting a 257-kilometer-long seashore with gorgeous natural beaches. Dameisha Beach

Dameisha Beach is the longest beach in Shenzhen with a length of 1,800 meters. Surrounded by mountains on three sides, Dameisha Beach is located at Mirs Bay in the east of Shenzhen. You can have fun swimming, parasailing, motorcycling or horse riding here. Taking a stroll on the beautiful beach will shed your burdens off.
