The 14th China Changchun Film Festival kicked off on Saturday, featuring more than 210 excellent films from many different countries with diverse themes and styles. The films scheduled to be in the festival will be showcased in 20 cinemas across five cities in three provinces of Changchun, Jilin, Shenyang, Harbin, and Dalian. The films will be on show for half a month from August 25.
The exhibition brings together classic films and award-winning new works.

Eager-eyed film lovers have found several names from the Changchun Film Festival's film panorama list that also appeared at the 8th Beijing International Film Festival, including the "Dreams," "David Bowie is Happening Now," "Ryuichi Sakamoto: CODA," and "Titanic" 3D version.

Unlike other documentaries "David Bowie is Happening Now", is based upon a special exhibition from the Victoria and Albert Museum in London, which can no longer be seen.
In addition to allowing a glimpse into the life of the world's most renowned musician, the documentary also seeks to restore the on-site experience of the museum exhibition for all audience members who didn't get the chance to witness it for themselves.
