Efforts have been made all over the country. According to the report of Chinanews, southern Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region is under the dual pressure of overseas penetration and domestic drug crime due to its proximity to the "golden triangle", a notorious drug producing area where the borders of Thailand, Laos, and Myanmar meet at the confluence of the Ruak and Mekong Rivers. The situation of drug crime there is becoming increasingly serious and complicated.
