Chinese President Xi Jinping has attended a welcome ceremony at the Sultan's palace during his state visit to Brunei. President Xi and Haji Hassanal Bolkiah, Sultan of Brunei oversaw the signing of a host of agreements on economic, trade and people-to-people exchanges. Brunei is the second stop of President Xi's Asia-Pacific tour. He just wrapped up a state visit to Papua New Guinea and attended the APEC Economic Leaders' Meeting there. After Brunei, Xi will visit the Philippines.
