As for basketball, NBA's LeBron James (85.5 million US dollars) and Stephen Curry (76,9 million US dollars) ranked No. 6 and No. 8 respectively. Twenty-time Grand Slam champion Roger Federer was the only tennis player listed in the ranking at No. 7 with 77.2 million US dollars. At No. 9 and No.10 were Matt Ryan (67.3 million) and Matthew Stafford (59.5 million) from NFL.
Though Mayweather has already retired, he is still one of the best money-making athletes on earth. In May, he released his assets on social media with a caricature of him, Michael Jordan and Eldrick Tiger Woods accompanied with "Floyd Mayweather 50-0! Hate it or love it... he now joins Michael Jordan in career earning over 1 Billion Dollars".
