Local residents gathered at a memorial to commemorate the fallen soldiers of China's People's War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression in Guanghan City, southwest China's Sichuan Province on Tuesday. The service took place one day before the 73rd anniversary of Japan's unconditional surrender in 1945.
