The opening of the AI facilities, supported by Baidu came with the company’s latest plan called “ACE” to ratchet up efforts in applying AI technologies to build smart cities, announced Thursday at the Baidu World technology conference. /VCG Photo

The plan aims to promote autonomous driving, connected roads and efficient cities.
