Ahead of the Forum on China-Africa Cooperation (FOCAC), being held in September 2018, CGTN produced a six-episode special series entitled "Hi China!" The program invited four guests from Africa to China to take an in-depth look at the vast country. They were divided into two teams and checked out six destinations, where they experienced first-hand some of the country's traditions, vitality and innovation.

In the first episode of the show, Hussein Makki from Egypt and Asi Nkatha from South Africa were given an ancient Chinese medical book and a leaf as their clues. Meanwhile, Sibu Mpanza from South Africa and Tariro Nhandara from Zimbabwe got a picture of a train with a South African flag on it. Their mission was to find wisdom behind the tag "China Innovation." How could the little leaf unlock the wisdom of Chinese medicine? And what adventures did Sibu and Tariro have in a famous Chinese locomotive company? Discover the full story in the video above.
