Situated in northeast China's Liaoning Province, the Liaohe River Estuary is a perfect breeding ground for the spotted seal, the only seal species that breeds in China.
In early spring, the newborns face their first challenge with the loving guidance of their mothers. Watch this video to see the young seal pup take its first step into the water.
