In his New Year address, Democratic People’s Republic of Korea (DPRK) leader Kim Jong Un reaffirmed his resolve for complete denuclearization, but says he may have to seek a "new path," if Washington continues to demand unilateral action from the DPRK. So what does Kim mean by “new path”? And how far are we from a permanent peace settlement on the Korean Peninsula?
