In a major upset in the ongoing Chinese Super League season, league leaders Shanghai SIPG suffered a 1-2 defeat against Changchun Yatai on Sunday.
Yatai's former Watford striker Odion Ighalo scored a brace on home turf as the hosts handed Vitor Pereira's side their first defeat of the season.
SIPG made a blazing start to the current season, winning their opening six games, but have now picked up one point from their last two games after being held to a draw by Tianjin Teda last weekend.

It was the home side who broke the deadlock in the 14th minute when Ighalo dribbled the ball near the penalty area to score. SIPG, however, clinched the equalizer as striker Wu Lei leveled the score after firing in from a Hulk's cross in the 41st minute.
Ighalo’s match-winning goal came in the second half before Hulk missed a spot kick in the 74th minute to deny his side a chance to pull off a draw.
