Direct flight links Guangzhou with Cambodian city

A new direct flight took off on Monday, linking the city of Guangzhou, capital of south China's Guangdong province, with Sihanoukville, a coastal city in Cambodia. 
Sihanoukville, a major tourist hub, is the third Cambodian city to have direct air connectivity with Guangzhou.
Daily flights operated by Cambodia's JC International Airlines will depart from Sihanoukville at 10:50 p.m. local time and arrive in Guangzhou at 2:25 a.m. Beijing time.
Return flights will take off at 3:25 a.m. Beijing time from Guangzhou and will arrive in Sihanoukville at around 5:10 a.m. local time on daily basis.

Statistics released by Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport showed that more than 663,000 passengers traveled between Guangzhou and Cambodia in 2017, with an increase of 41.6 percent year-on-year.
In addition, according to Cambodian Tourism Ministry's latest report released on Monday that almost 1.1 million Chinese tourists had visited Cambodia in the first seven months of 2018, up 72.6 percent over the same period last year. 
Chinese holidaymakers accounted for 31.7 percent of the international tourists to Cambodia between January-July this year, the report also added that China topped the chart among the top 10 international arrivals to the country.
