Sun Yang wins 200m freestyle title at National Championships

Chinese swimmer Sun Yang claimed a second title at the 2019 China National Swimming Championships in the men's 200m freestyle, posting the world's fastest time this year at 1:45.73 in Qingdao, eastern China, on Tuesday evening.
The runner-up, Ji Xinjie, was close behind with a time of 1:46.27. Wang Shun finished with a time of 1:47.35, bagging the bronze medal.
In the women's 1,500m freestyle, Wang Jianjiahe dominated the event with a time of 15:49.85. Zhang Ke and Hou Yawen clocked in at 16:13.39 and 16:13.60 to finish second and third, respectively.

Yan Zibei won the men's 50m breaststroke by setting a new national record of 26.96, just 0.02 seconds shy of the Asian record. Xu Jiayu claimed the men's 100-meter backstroke title with a time of 52.27.
Yu Jingyao grabbed the women's 100m breaststroke gold medal with a time of 1:07.17. Fu Yuanhui defeated Chen Jie in the women's 100m backstroke by 0.10 seconds, for a winning time of 59.84.
