CSL team offers big contract to Croatian manager Zlatko Dalic

A team from Chinese Football Association Super League (CSL) is offering a big contract to Zlatko Dalic, manager of Croatia's national soccer team who led his country reach the final at the 2018 FIFA World Cup in Russia, reported multiple Croatian media outlets including Croatia Week and Total Croatia News on Thursday.
According to Sportske Novosti, the offer is a three-year contract with a yearly pay of 9.21 million US dollars plus 1.15 million US dollars as recruiting budget for his coaching team. Besides, based on the team's performance, Dalic will receive further bonuses including another 2.3 million US dollars for winning CSL title, 1.72 million US dollars for CFA Cup and about 575,000 US dollars for coming in second place during his first year.
Considering that the payment will increase annually and Dalic can receive "the first payment five days after a signature," it's clear that the team is making a sincere offer for the 51-year-old manager.

Dalic was reportedly asked to decide whether to accept the offer by the end of the week. Although he already responded to the news on Thursday through RTL television: "The offer is real, the Chinese were in Croatia and increased the offer, but my focus is still on the Croatian national team and matches against England and Jordan. Money is not everything."
Since Dalic returned with the country's best ranking at the World Cup from Russia in summer, there were various speculations about him stepping down. Meanwhile, multiple national teams all over the world have reached out to him. In the end, Dalic confirmed that he will continue as the national team's manager for the 2020 UEFA European Football Championship.
