Guo Weimin, spokesperson for the second session of the 13th National Committee of the CPPCC, reiterated China's stance on the Belt and Road Initiative, dismissing the claims that relevant countries may fall into a "debt trap" set by China. "It's totally ungrounded calling the Belt and Road Initiative a 'debt trap'," Guo said.
