One year later, the master plan for Xiongan New area was approved which symbolized a key step forward in its construction. Now Xiongan New Area is going to reach full-scale construction stage after a series of thorough investigations and completion of comprehensive plans over the past two years.

Xiongan has been considered a new economic zone with national significance after the Shenzhen Special Economic Zone and the Pudong New Area. It is expected to be of lasting importance for the millennium to come. The establishment of Xiongan New Area is an inevitable requirement to promote the coordinated development of Beijing, Tianjin and Hebei. It has natural advantages such as vast hinterland, abundant resources and strong environmental carrying capacity.

However, compared with Pudong New Area and Shenzhen Special Economic Zone, Xiongan New Area is still at a disadvantage in regional development balance, market-oriented level and industrial structure. Therefore, it is necessary to vigorously exert the diffusion effect of Beijing and Tianjin.

Xiongan will be a world-class brand that represents the direction of China's high-quality city cluster.

In the process of Xiongan New Area construction, China should push forward the development pattern reform in an all-round way and strive to build innovative demonstration areas to implement new development concepts.

Xiongan New Area construction will also set up a new development pattern in the whole process of planning, design, construction, operation and management.
