Chinese Premier Li Keqiang met El Salvador's President Salvador Sanchez Ceren at Great Hall of the People in Beijing on November 2. Li said the Chinese side attaches great importance to El Salvador's adherence to the one-China policy. Sanchez said El Salvador is willing to develop long-term relations with China, and jointly build the China-proposed Belt and Road Initiative (BRI).
