Chinese President Xi Jinping met with the leaders of seven other Pacific island countries which have diplomatic ties with China on Friday. They discussed bilateral relations and pragmatic cooperation. Papua New Guinea is the first stop of President Xi's ongoing Asia-Pacific tour. The trip will also take him to Brunei and the Philippines.
