Kim Min-jae has agreed personal terms to join the Chinese Super League side Beijing Guoan in what may end up as a South Korean transfer record, reports from Seoul say.
According to Sports Seoul, the 22-year-old  South Korea international is believed to have made his mind up over a move to Beijing from the K League's Jeonbuk Hyundai Motors.
He is said to have agreed to a four-year deal that will see him earn 15 million U.S. dollars, eight times his current salary.

Kim is waiting for the clubs to agree on a transfer fee, and it is understood that Jeonbuk Hyundai Motors are ready to cash in on the 2017 K-League Young Player of the Year award winner, having received a 9-million-dollar bid from Guoan.
It is also reported that Guoan coach Roger Schmidt, who guided the Chinese Super League giants to the Chinese FA Cup title last week, holds Kim in extremely high regard and has even promised to help the youngster move to top European leagues in the future.
Sports Seoul added that Kim is expected to travel to Beijing to complete his medical before reporting for South Korean's Asian Cup training camp on December 11.
