Residents in Sin Talma in Eastern Ghouta gathered at a small falafel shop to watch a World Cup match on the only television in the town. Watching the World Cup was simply a fantasy before when the militants occupied the town. Residents hope that their lives will continue to improve and have found happiness in the fact that they will be able to watch the World Cup in 2022 under even better circumstances.
