Five new tourism routes in Yuhang District in Hangzhou, east China's Zhejiang Province, were unveiled in Shanghai by the local government on Friday, featuring four culture-themed tour routes and a cluster of model villages.
Yuhang, the largest district of Hangzhou, is the birthplace of Liangzhu culture – the last Neolithic jade culture in the Yangtze River Delta. It is currently developing a cluster of themed tours with local features, culture and charm to boost countryside tourism, said Ge Jianwei, deputy governor of Yuhang.
There are quite a few visit-worthy spots in Yuhang, including the Tangxi Ancient Town, Liangzhu Culture Museum, Jingshan Tea and Buddhist Monastery, Chaoshan Scenic Area and so on.

Developed by David Chipperfield Architects, Liangzhu Culture Museum is home to archaeological findings derived from the Liangzhu period. It is built on a lake and connected via bridges to the park.
Last year, Yuhang received 10.5 million tourists on agricultural leisure tours, making 1.02 billion yuan (151 million U.S. dollars) of tourism revenue. It is expected to see continuous growth in the tourism sector this year.
