To the Chinese, the annual Spring Festival is a culmination of many wonderful things. Hundreds of millions make long journeys to their hometowns. And some of those people don’t make a return trip, after having found new work all over again after the holiday. But it’s this spirit of a family reunion that outweighs everything at this festive time. And along with the plentiful food, fireworks, red envelopes and well-deserved time off, reunion is the ultimate meaning of the annual Lunar New Year.
