A residential complex in southern India's Coimbatore had unexpected guests on December 28, when seven elephants were caught on a surveillance camera while entering the area. The giant intruders were seen rampaging a banana plantation before quietly leaving the complex. In the last three years, over 1,000 people have been killed by elephants in India as per government data.
