China's Chang'e-4 probe sends back panoramic image of far side of Moon

The Chang'e-4 lander, its rover Yutu-2, and relay satellite Queqiao are all in a stable condition as of 8 a.m. on Friday, and work is being carried out accordingly, according to China National Space Administration (CNSA).

The topographic and geomorphological camera configured on the lander completed the ring shoot, and the researchers produced a clear ring image map based on the data sent back by the relay satellite.

Based on the image map taken by the landing camera, the researchers completed a preliminary analysis of the lunar topography and geomorphology around the landing site.
