At least 24 injured in SW China gas explosion

At least 24 people were injured in a gas explosion in a village in southwest China's Guizhou Province on Sunday.

The blast, which resulted from a gas leak, occurred at about 11:20 p.m.

All of the victims remained hospitalized on Monday but none of the injuries were life-threatening.

Officials said a search and rescue operation is continuing.
