President of the 73rd session of the United Nations General Assembly Maria Fernanda Espinosa Garces addressed a memorial tribute to Kofi Annan on Friday. Espinosa is only the fourth woman and the first woman in Latin America and the Caribbean to preside over the UN General Assembly.
