With the first China International Import Expo (CIIE) just 16 days away, many products are beginning to arrive in Shanghai.
But not all of them are being shipped across the borders.
A giant helicopter, made by Italian aircraft firm Leonardo, flew into a Shanghai airport in front of a crowd of local reporters.
The 17.6-meter-long, 5.14-meter-tall AW198 jumbo helicopter, first produced in 2014, will make its China debut at the expo on November 5.
Designed for emergency rescue operations, the nearly 30-million-US-dollar rotorcraft can carry a total of 19 people or six stretchers at one time, more than most of the same rank of aircraft.
Importers told CGTN that there are already potential buyers in China, and that they are expected to reach deals at the CIIE, which runs from November 5 to 10.
