Two unique laboratories have opened in Italy that let visitors experience extreme climate conditions. /VCG photo
From blizzards to blistering heat, you can experience all under one roof. /VCG photo
TerraXCube, the creator of these labs, said that the labs can stimulate extreme weather conditions in a safe and controlled environment. /VCG photo
Air pressure, humidity and solar radiation can be recreated in the labs, each consisting of four chambers and one large cube. /VCG photo
According to Christian Steurer, director of TerraXcube, small chambers are as cold as the Alps while the larger ones can stimulate weather conditions that prevail on top of Mount Qomolangma. /VCG photo
The researchers aim to study the influence of different climatic conditions on humans through environmental simulation, which could help mountaineers, rescue operators and farmers working in extreme climate conditions. /VCG photo
