Changbai cranesbill: the tiny pink elf living on the mountain

["china"]
In July, a Changbai cranesbill plant is gently blooming in the Changbai Mountains Nature Reserve in northeast China's Jilin Province. The plant looks like a small elf falling on the cold alpine tundra. To reduce energy consumption, it grows smaller than other types of cranesbill. The name of cranesbill is gotten from the shape of its seed.
