12 Young Chinese players arrived in Russia on June 11 to take part in a variety of activities related to the World Cup.

Some of them are expected to join hands with Russian national football players during the tournament's opening match against Saudi Arabia, according to Xinhua.

Led by former Chinese national football team coach Zhu Guanghu, the team, which consists of the best primary school age line-up from across China, will also participate in friendship games and conduct exchanges with local schools and organizations.
