Researchers recently discovered three tagged white cranes among the migratory birds resting in northeast China's Jilin Momoge National Nature Reserve. Bird banding is an important way to study the migration of wild birds. China, Mongolia and Russia have established banding stations for tracing the migratory routes of white cranes.
