Students in the Himalayas have to make an extremely dangerous trip to reach their college; one small slip could lead to a fatal fall. Some 300 families were cut off when a landslide blocked the only road to their village in Pithoragarh, India, in early August. Before the local administration cleared the road, people were forced to walk across the steep slopes to get to work.
